Welcome to all. We are happy to have you visit our church. As a guest, you may have questions. We have answered a few below. Click any title to review an answer. Feel free to contact us with other questions or concerns about our on-site or online church offerings.

What are services like?
servicesWe strive to allow people to connect with God on a personal level using different elements of music, media and the arts.

The Classic is our 9:30am service. It leans toward traditional singing hymns, reciting creeds with a powerful choir and once a month bell choir. The music and readings always accentuate the message of the day.

The Current is our 11:00am service. On a given Sunday you will walk into a full band playing songs from Elevation, Belonging Co., and more. The service is simple yet impactful with music and a message.

In the Summer months enjoy our Drive-In Service at the Lakeshore Drive-In at 8:30am. Come as you are, worship in your car...and don't forget your animals!
Where do I go?
We are so excited that you are joining us for worship. After you park, head on into the building and stop off at the Welcome Center or grab a donut and some coffee in the meeting area. We would love to answer any questions you have and for First Time Guests, we have a gift for you to say thanks for joining us.
Where do my children go?
We have Adventures in Faith classes for ages 4 yrs through 5th grade. Look for a children’s ministry volunteer or our Director of Children’s Ministry, Miki Seymour, to help you find the right room for your child. We also have a nursery for newborns through 3 years.
Where do my Middle/High School kids go?
During The Classic, our traditional service at 9:30am, Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers have class upstairs in The Loft.

During The Current, our contemporary service at 11am, the youth are invited to participate in the worship service.
What do I wear?
We want you to be comfortable. After all, we are just thrilled to have you join us and want you to be more focused on the service and worshiping than what you’re wearing. In the summer it is very common to see people in shorts, sandals and a shirt. Some prefer to come dressed in their Sunday best, and that is great too! You’ll fit in no matter how you dress.
Am I expected to put money in the offering box?
If you are visiting with us, we don’t expect you to put money in the offering box. If you consider MUMC your home church we ask you to prayerfully consider giving. You can do so through the envelope in the pews, through an online giving account or through our web site.
